While we continue to let it grow it was time for a bit of a shape up. Her bangs were a bit jagged. It is not an issue when she keeps a precious bow in her hair but all too often that is not the case. She loves to pull that bow out! Getting started, see the long uneven bangs.
We weren't sure how this was going to turn out as busy girl was certainly not sitting still for this. Too much to see! But Mercedes was not rattled and kept cutting no matter which way Juliana turned!
It turned out great. Juliana wanted to play a little longer in her jeep.
She even cleaned up after herself!
This week we also had her first swim lesson. Finally! I didn't get too many photos as I was walking the fine line of letting her know we were there and not seeing us so much she didn't want to participate. Of course, the photos are also through the viewing area window.
This was after her first time under water.

Learning to kick.
Then she decided she wanted nothing more to do with this swimming nonsense.
In the end, Mr. Chris made it up to her with bubbles. Smart man!
Can't wait to see how she does next week.
We ended the week of firsts with a trip to the dentist! Oh boy!
She loved the waiting area and all its toys.
She also loved the hygienist, Kelli, and her room with cabinets that actually open!
And all the cool gadgets, and sunglasses. This place is fun!
Well, maybe not so much. I don't have any more pictures because it all went downhill. Really it wasn't that bad but a few tears were shed. Once again, Dr. Lesley knew how to make our girl happy in the end. On our way out she was able to see her dog, Meringue, and feed him a treat! Our "doga"-loving girl immediately asked "More?" She would have stayed and fed him treats all day!
Instead we went to a Mexican restaurant.
We discovered little miss loves refried beans.
Mommy & Daddy are not big fans
But she loved them in her mouth and all over her face!
I guess we can add that to her week of firsts!

I commend that hair stylist for being able to cut our little wiggle worm's hair! She did a great job, and no tears! And the dentist as well! You two have really done a great job raising a fearless and fun loving little girl! Love, Uncle Robert
